I am a woman from Kenya with deep African roots. I was born and raised in Nairobi—the only city globally with a national park within its limits. I was fortunate to grow up in a five-minute neighbourhood near City Park, where I interacted daily with Sykes and Vervet monkeys, experiencing the wonder of nature right in the city. I attended Catholic schools managed by nuns, which played a significant role in shaping my character and values.
As an introvert, I have developed a strong passion for reading biographies, which offer profound insights into individuals, institutions, and places. I also enjoy true stories and documentaries, shaping my choices in books and movies. My travels to 78 cities worldwide have further fueled my curiosity about food, taste, fashion, photography, and videography. Travelling has broadened my perspectives and deepened my appreciation for diverse cultures.
I am deeply passionate about environmental conservation and aspire to make a positive impact on the world. I value knowledge, empathy, authenticity, and introspection.
